Aces Only — Privacy Policy

Effective October 14, 2026

Aces Only is a golf game for iPhone made by Cory Dorning (“I”, “me”). This policy explains what happens to information when you play it. In short: I don’t run any servers and I don’t collect your personal information. The game uses three services from Apple and Google, described below, and each has its own privacy policy.

What stays on your iPhone

Your progress, stats, settings, Daily results and achievements are saved only on your iPhone, in the game’s own storage. They aren’t sent to me. Deleting the game deletes them.

Game Center (Apple)

If you’re signed in to Game Center, the game posts your scores (holes played, holes in one, hole-in-one percentage, longest streak, mulligans used, and your Daily aces and streak) to Apple’s Game Center leaderboards, where other players can see them with your Game Center name. The game also shows the leaderboards, including your friends’ scores, inside the game. Game Center is run by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the game shows ads from Google AdMob: a short ad before using a mulligan, and one after every six holes. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address and the approximate location it gives, device type, operating system, crash and performance data, and how you interact with ads.

How Google uses this information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Purchases (Apple)

Buying the game, to remove the ads, is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. I never see your payment details. The game only learns from Apple whether the purchase was made, so it can stop showing ads, and it can restore that purchase on another device.

Sharing your Daily result

When you tap Share after a Daily, iOS’s share sheet opens with a short message (for example “Aces Only, Daily #2, 3/3”). You choose whether and where to send it; the game doesn’t send it anywhere by itself.

Children

Aces Only isn’t directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
